If all you want to do is hold the battery, then I think there is a workaround for this: while you can't send a "hold" command over Modbus, you can turn the inverter on & off (which is a brute force way to achieve effectively the same thing). The entity for this is Unlike |

I'm also interested in this function. Does anyone know if you use the above workaround will the Sig System still work as a backup for Grid failure while in this mode? |

Now that in the new app update you can select a longer duration under manual control for example for hold battery, self-consumption, charge, etc. is it possible to do this via a Modbus command and specify, for example, 6 hours, and if you later want to return to automatic control, can you also switch it back using a Modbus command?
