Is this entirely separate to SigEnergy servers?

Hello, this looks like a great project. Can you tell me what might happen if, for some reason, SigEnergy servers were no longer available/accessible? Is there full control over the SigenStor via HomeAssistant with no access needed to SigEnergy servers

Yes, this integration works without any connection to Sigenergy servers. Only to the local inverter.
Although from what I've read around on forums the Sigenergy Inverter shits down after 90 days without contact with the Sigenergy servers.

Thank you. Very useful to know. I did a bit more digging and found the below which shows what happens when there is no internet connection for 90 days

Please see summary of updates below. These new changes will be activated when the excellent MySigen 3.0 app update goes live later this week:
• In scenarios where the system is not connected to the Internet for a long period of time, more than 90 days, we will change our operation strategy for our All-in-One systems, which previously disabled the energy storage function and allowed the customer to use only the pure photovoltaic power generation function.
• Now we will allow customers to use the energy storage function while ensuring system safety, and customers can continue to charge and discharge. Charging and discharging speed performance will be slightly limited, but it will not be significant for customers. (Limitations may be greater when the operating environment is very poor).
• The short-term overload function cannot be supported in the case of long-term offline scenarios, and the Cut-off SOC will be appropriately adjusted to prevent battery damage caused by customers leaving the battery unattended for a long period of time.
• All adjustments are made to ensure that the customer's system can run safely when offline, while retaining the customer's charging and discharging functions.
