How to use speech punctuation? #284

Short answer: in the current stable build, there is not one universal "speech punctuation" switch yet. Some engines and models add punctuation natively, but spoken commands like "comma", "period", "question mark", or "open bracket" are still engine- and language-dependent right now. So whether they turn into symbols or stay as words depends a lot on the engine, model, and spoken language you are using. I am actively working on a spoken punctuation compatibility layer for this in #255. That work adds a dedicated Spoken Punctuation setting, but it is not part of the normal stable release flow yet. So if you were expecting a simple "turn on this option and say comma", the honest answer today is: not reliably across every engine/language combination yet. If you want, reply with:
Then I can tell you whether this should already work natively today, or whether you are hitting one of the compatibility gaps I am still closing. |

I love the app, wondering how to use speech punctuation? I have read some comments about it, but I don't know how to use it.
