Is this project dead?

it's a bummer, this is still one of the best frontends out there, but it looks like it's dead :-(

The issue is - as far as I can tell - that the codebase could probably use a rewrite, since the project's aspiration and utility has grown so much while a lot of tasks run by it are probably not as efficient as they could be, but I'm saying that not as a coder, so grain of salty etc...

That and @Tzahi12345 seems to want to take either a long break from this project or quit working on it. I'm not sure, all I know is that I can't contribute the code and new dev talent seems attracted to a fresher less aged codebase in TubeArchivist which probably is a great software and who knows maybe I should familiarize myself with it as well, but that's where we are.

I don't think this project is dead as in if someone came along trying to main maintenance for it, it'd be turned down, that's probably what Tzahi hoped I would eventually do (?), but I'm better at coming up with UI, UX and feature ideas.

Despite not having been maintained for so long this project still has many features and supported use cases not found elsewhere, if someone with good coding expertise wants to build on top of that I'll try to support and more actively do repo maintenance and community communication again as time allows.

So if you know someone or want to rally for support where you know possibly curious devs roam - be my guest. <3
