The bump-version action was using 'github-actions' as the git author with email 'actions@users.noreply.github.com', which GitHub resolves to the 'actions' Organization account (id: 44036562) — not the 'github-actions[bot]' Bot account (id: 41898282). This caused the CLA Assistant to reject all bot-authored PRs because the resolved name 'github-actions' does not match the allowlist pattern '*[bot]'. The correct noreply email format '41898282+github-actions[bot]@users.noreply.github.com' resolves to 'github-actions[bot]', which matches the pattern. This has been blocking release PRs since Feb 2026 (#324, #328, #340).
