Validation V3 API missing DPV Footnotes

The new version of the Validation V3 API is missing the DPV Footnotes, which are critical to understand the underlying issue associated with an address. The current version of the Validation API provides this granular information so we can for example:

• Understand if an address is missing the Apt / Unit #
• Understand if an address is using an invalid house number
  and 13+ other footnotes

From speaking to support, it sounds like the team is considering this.. although I'm a bit confused why it wasn't carried over from the current version.

We are presuming you are referring to Webtools Validations API. This was replaced with the Addresses API in usps-apis.
This is correct that Addresses API does not return footnotes at this time. This has been noted. We will review adding this functionality in the future.

Hi @lawrence-ricker Yes that is correct, I was just curious why the DPV Footnotes were not pulled over to the new version since they are helpful and in some cases critical for our shipping operations.
