Sensor selection not published to broker on connection (v1.6.3 regression)

Description
When the app connects to a broker, the list of sensors selected by the user are not published to the broker as expected. The user must manually deselect and reselect those sensors for their selection to be published. This issue started appearing in version v1.6.3.

To Reproduce

1. Select sensors you wish to publish.
2. Connect the app to the MQTT broker.
3. Observe that selected sensors are not published to the broker.
4. Deselect and reselect sensors
5. Observe that sensors are now being published

Expected Behavior

• Upon connecting to the broker, the app should automatically publish the sensors the user has selected, without requiring manual toggling of selection.
