I’m a Software Engineer working to better understand how to expand the use of Deep Learning and Computer Vision in consumer products by making this technology more available to the average user as well as integrating this technology into the projects I am developing. My expertise includes Deep Learning, Operating Systems, and Full-Stack Development which I constantly utilize through professional, academic, and personal projects. I enjoy generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems. Specific fields of interest include Computer Vision, FinTech, and Smart Home Devices.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at Purdue University. I am currently enrolled in the Online Computer Science Masters program at Georgia Insititute of Technology.

- Instructed a 8 week AWS Bootcamp Course for Entry Level / New Grad Software Engineers which went over material required for the Solutions Architect Exam.
- Re-designed, developed, and deployed the Secured Card Deposit Portal with React.js, Node.js, Spring, and AWS.
- Developed features to improve customer experience/retention using UX testing feedback and Business Analysis.
- Implemented snapshot & ATDD testing to validate functionality with Cypress, Cucumber, and Jest.
- Built a Spring based Street Address Validation API to alert users when inputting a nonexistent street address.
- Automated Secured Card Deposit Portal deployment with a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and AWS CloudFront.
- Developing and deploying deep learning computer vision models into Google’s Model Garden with TensorFlow 2 and writing TensorFlow 2 guidelines/technical documents within a paid special interest team sponsored by Google.
- Leading a team of 6 engineers in developing several ETL data pipelines and infrastructures for both of the TensorFlow Model Garden’s YOLO (v1-v5) object detection network and Efficentnet image classification network.
- Created the Google Colab notebook image annotation tool found in the TensorFlow 2 Object Detection API.
- Developed and deployed several REST APIs for various cloud-based application by using MongoDB, Spring, Node.js, Bamboo, Mockito and Pivotal Cloud Foundry with the internal cloud services team.
- Constructed several stored procedures, functions and triggers for various REST APIs by utilizing MS SQL and .NET Core MVC in an enterprise application for the NYC Department of Design and Construction.
- Built several full stack administrator portal configuration screens by utilizing MS SQL, Angular and .NET Core MVC in an enterprise application for the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
🔬 Research Experience 🔬
- Developed a deep learning PyTorch based multistage framework that uses geometry changes on a hand’s surface and the interactions between the dominant and non-dominant hand/object for hand action recognition.
- Implemented the YOLOv4 network to locate the dominant and non-dominant hand/object for the localization stage.
- Integrated ResNet18 to classify located objects which allows hand action predictions to be contextualized.
- Employed computer vision methods such as scene classification, crowd density estimation and distance estimation on a system of 30,000 cameras to quantify social distancing effectiveness by using TensorFlow 2.
- Created an interactive website to showcase CAM2’s data, analysis, and academic papers with React.js and Flask.
- Designed a system to validate 500 GB of image data per week by identifying dead or blurry cameras with OpenCV.
- Led a team of 10 engineers in developing an open source code review tool to aid developers in catching logically defected code with NLP and automated collection of user data to allow us to drive future updates.
