Question about .gif files

Hello, when I upload .gif file the gif itself is not working. Is the problem just for me or it's not supposed to work?

Please follow the upgrade document and upgrade to v1.7.1.

I did the upgrade. I can upload the .gif but the image is not moving.

.gif files won't animate after being cropped.
