Inviting nominations for UCP Food Technical Council

Based on the Food Tech Council Charter Proposal, we are excited to announce that we are inviting nominations for establishing a Food Technical Council (Food TC) as a key technical governing body under the UCP Governing Council. The Food TC will drive the technical direction, roadmap, capabilities, and schema for the food domain relating to local food delivery and ordering.

Structure of the Food Technical Council (Food TC)

The Food TC operates under the UCP Governing Council and works in parallel with other Domain Technical Councils, such as the Shopping Tech Council (existing Tech Council). The final structure, seat allocation, and voting mechanisms for the Food TC will be determined by the UCP Governing Council, ensuring representation from both founding organizations and the broader community.

How to Apply

Organizations with local food ordering and delivery expertise and a commitment to UCP’s open, vendor-agnostic vision are invited to apply for the Food TC.

The eligibility criteria for selection will be based on multiple factors including, unique domain expertise, ecosystem representation and contributions to grow the health and adoption of the protocol.
