As detailed here, a "system cursor patch" could improve the smoothness of mouse pointer movement: https://github.com/FunkyFr3sh/cnc-ddraw/issues/330 The patch needs to be done on the game’s side. The jerky pointer can't be fixed via a third party wrapper.
