Working with a language model on a complex problem produces, almost always, the same outcome: a long, rich, unrecoverable conversation. The decisions were made mid-dialogue; hours later nobody can reconstruct why. What survives is the product, without the reasoning that produced it.
Koòrdinated Thinking is a proposed method for keeping that reasoning. Koòrd is the tooling that aims to make the method ordinary rather than demanding. This wiki documents both.
| The Method | The full document, one page per chapter: what the method is, what it borrows, where it costs, and what it does not claim |
| Tools | What exists today to work under the method — a skill for Claude and ChatGPT, a four-skill package for Open WebUI, a self-contained single file for everywhere else, repository scripts |
| Koòrd, the software | The application: a web interface for working with several language models under the method |
Everything here exists in two languages: Italian, where the method was created and tested most extensively, and English, in which Koòrd is published.
- The specification is the source of truth. It is the primary artefact; the product is derived from it and verifiable against it. What is not in the document is not decided.
- Decisions are numbered and carry their rationale. They can be cited instead of re-argued — and a decision without a reason cannot be judged years later, only obeyed or overturned blindly.
- Open points are recorded, not forced or forgotten. Work proceeds on the rest; the question stays visible until it becomes answerable.
- The problem is put to several interlocutors — distinct in role, and where the stakes justify it distinct in model and vendor — because a single perspective, human or machine, bounds the reasoning it can produce.
They are not independent: each one holds because the others do. That composition is what the name denotes — the practices themselves are borrowed, and named in the words the disciplines they come from already use.
The method is published as a proposal, revision open, v1.0. The application is not yet built.
The repository is a one-way release window rather than a collaborative development site: external contributions are not open at this stage, and there is no CLA.
