I maintain and contribute to several GitHub repositories across organizations. I’m evaluating AO for two recurring workflows and would appreciate a check on my understanding.
A. I author PRs
I create a PR and give an agent direction to follow it through: address CI failures, review feedback, and conflicts, involving me when a decision is needed.
My understanding is that AO largely supports this already: I can claim an existing PR, and AO monitors GitHub and routes subsequent feedback to the owning session.
Is that accurate? In particular, does follow-through continue if the agent finishes its current task and feedback arrives later, or is manual intervention needed to resume it?
B. I review PRs
Someone requests my review, or a contributor opens a PR in a repository I maintain. I want an agent to investigate the changes and prepare a review for my approval, then follow subsequent revisions until my review responsibility is fulfilled.
The pieces I haven’t found documented are:
I’ve seen the GitHub issue-intake functionality and AO’s reviewer agents. Can those support this workflow already, or would it require new intake and lifecycle behavior?
If either workflow isn’t supported yet, would it fit the project’s intended direction? I currently maintain a personal tool for these workflows, but I’d rather contribute to AO than maintain a separate system, and I’d be happy to help implement the missing pieces. Is related work already underway or a discussion I should join?
