POC - Role Use Case Analysis and Permission Design #1477
Description
This issue focuses on the initial analysis required to support dynamic role creation and permission management within the UOP platform. The goal is to understand the current role structure, identify the required permission levels, and evaluate the feasibility of implementing a flexible access control system.
Key activities include:
Reviewing existing roles and their responsibilities
Identifying and documenting use cases for roles such as User Officer and Instrument Scientist
Mapping required permissions to each use case
Evaluating technical feasibility of dynamic role and permission assignment
Proposing a high-level design plan for implementation
This analysis will inform the direction of the POC and guide future implementation decisions.
