v0.1.0 Release
Webserver v0.1.0 — Initial Release
This is the first public release, hooray.
It provides a stable foundation for projects relying on the legacy synchronous API, prior to the upcoming transition to fully coroutine-based handlers in future versions.
Whilst I intend on reintroducing support for the synchronous API at some point in the future, it’s currently not a feasible task — this release exists mainly to provide continuity for existing systems before coroutine-based request handling becomes the new default.
While this version does not yet include the new coroutine handler system, which is the reason this all has started almost two years ago, it ensures compatibility and smooth migration for existing systems built on earlier iterations of uvent.
- Establishes a baseline implementation of the
webserverwith a focus on stability and backward compatibility. - Integrates
uventv2.0.2, bringing improved networking and event-loop handling. - Adds per-request user data support, enabling better context management across handlers.
