Open Visual Studio Code (VS Code).

In the integrated terminal, ensure that your current directory is set to SkillVista/backend else navigate to this directory using the cd command: cd SkillVista/backend

Run the following command to install project dependencies using npm: npm i

If you want to run the server then type npm run dev or npm start

• Ensure everyone has the Prettier extension installed in their VS Code for linting:
• Install the Prettier extension from the VS Code Extensions Marketplace.
