A 1 channel ADPCM decoder chip from OKI semiconductor. Used in PC-Engine CD-ROM ADPCM, and various arcade boards from the 80s and bootlegs from the 90s.

This chip has another variant which is the MSM6585 running at 12-bit DAC, and usually runs at 640kHz, few examples of this chip is the game, Varia Metal.

The core derives from the previous code from eito himself when implementing the chip for Darius VGM pack.

I'll do the rips, once the next mame vgm mod is out. Also, do you have the existing foo_gep component plugin source code for foobar2000? cant seem to find it.
