Console and info text doesn't show in respawn games #5440
Description
In Titanfall (1454890), Titanfall 2 (1237970), and Apex Legends (1454890), which are highly modified source engine games, any UI text that isn't normally shown, such as with cl_showpos or cl_showfps, as well as the hidden-by-default console, do not show.
Example:
i'd like to note that the game is heavily modded in that screenshot, however it happens regardless.
System:
Distro: Manjaro
Kernel: 5.10.84-1-MANJARO
CPU: R5 3600
GPU: RTX 2070
Driver: Nvidia 495.44
Proton Version: 6.3-8 (although this happens on everything, even vanilla wine)
