Symptoms

Game doesn't start in VR, the Unity starting screen shortly shows up, but the game locks up and the prompt "application doesn't respond" shows up where the game can be killed. It can happen that also SteamVR crashes. Often, but not always.
Game does start without VR, but as it's a VR title, it cannot be played without VR.

Reproduction

• start beVaiR in VR and observe the freeze.
