Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Xfinity gave me a new triband router/modem - the XB8. Its seems to have a weaker Wifi signal than its predecessor. Legion Go S with a Z2 Go processor would lose network connection and not be able to reconnect in some places in the house. If it stayed connected, throughput would be as low as 1.5 Mbit/s. All other devices work well with the Xfinity modem.

Installed windows 11 on the Legoin Go. Network performance was great in all locations of the house including the SteamOS troublespots. Did a fresh install of SteamOS from Windows. Problems came back in the same manner as before. Installed Bazzite. Network performance was great in all locations of the house like Windows.

I have tried WPA2 and WPA3 on both ends. I have disabled WiFI power management in SteamOS as well.

lsfw -C network on Bazzite said driverversion=6.17.7-ba14.fc43.x86_64. Mediatek MT7922 Adapter.

Apologies if this is considered a feature request and not an issue report.
