While I've been fiddeling around with CS 1.6 console commands I've noticed the following: If you set fps_max to a high value, say 9999, (and fps_override 1, of course) you will stick to the ground when you land after a jump for about 1 second before you can accelerate again and move around at a normal speed. This effect shortens the smaller your FPS is untill it almost fully disappears at around 30 FPS.
I run CS 1.6 at 600-1200 FPS with fps_max 9999 and fps_override 1, depending on map, location and angle.
I also tested this in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero with similar results. Unfortunatly, I don't own any other GoldSrc games to check if they are affected too,
I hope that this hasn't been poseted here before, couldn't find anything with a quick search on the issue tracker.
