Growth Engineering is a specialized, metric-driven discipline that sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and data. While traditional engineering often focuses on core features or infrastructure, Growth focuses on the "AARRR" funnel (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, and Revenue). In this talk, I will break down the frameworks we use to run experiments at scale, how we leverage data to reduce friction in the user journey, and share personal lessons learned from building growth systems at Gusto.
