Not sure when this deprecation would matter, but it would be nice to be rid of the warning when running forge build.

What is the recommendation for a 'fix'? simply removing the virtual keyword? If not what? I can start a branch it there isn't one.

We’ll address this once Solidity 0.9.0 is released. Until then, we prefer to keep the current behavior for compatibility reasons, since 0.9.0 is expected to introduce several breaking changes anyway.
