VM fails to start with VirtualBox-7.1.97-169017-Linux_amd64.run on OpenSUSE Leap 15.6 running kernel 6.15.0.

After upgrading from opensuse compiled upstream 6.14.5 to 6.15.0, VirtualBox from opensuse repo would not compile the modules. Tried 7.1.8 and then 7.1.97-169017 developer snapshot build. The modules compiled but looks like a preemption error.

This should be fixed with 7.1.10, can you verify that?

Isn't 7.1.97 > 7.1.10? or maybe I don't understand the versioning?

That is an developer version of 7.2, it is possible that an fix that landet in the 7.1.10 stable version was not contained in the developer version you tried.

You could also try to checkout the latest developer version again.

Problem is gone with 6.15.3 and VirtualBox-7.1.11-169351-Linux_amd64.run.
