"Check for updates..." feature does not work on macOS X

Version: 7.1.8 and 7.1.10
Platform: macOS 15.5 (24F74)
Issue: New version notification does not show correct information (screenshot attached)
Steps to reproduce: On macOS press "Check for updates..." and inspect "New version found" notification.
