What happened?
In the main VirtualBox GUI, if you drag the middle bar splitter (splitting the left panel (VMs list) and right panel (VM Details, Snapshots, etc)) and hide one of the panels, it is not possible to restore the view of the hidden panel from the GUI.
In VirtualBox.xml, the setting becomes (for the left panel hidden)
