What problem are you facing?

Nearly every single Linux based OS is having crital issue with the current implementation of VB Guest Additions.
The current Oracle VB developer response for trying to help the community resolving the issues is abyssal, at best!

I therefore call for the Oracle company to fully open source and share the source code and documentation for using and integrating the Virtualbox Guest Additions.

I firmly believe this will not impact the Oracle revenue in any negative way. In fact it is most likely the other way around. A FOSS GA would leave room for rapidly improving the GA compatibility with minimal maintenance input from Oracle VB developers. In this way also promoting their paid product licensing.

Not sure how this corresponds to the VB inserted ISO, so it would be great if you could provide some build instructions or other minimal documentation on how to use this to build our own GA installers/iso.
