What happened?

Clipboard sync form host to guest works for example from Notepad, but doesn't work from Firefox which is confusing.

• Linux kernel: 7.0.4
• KDE Plasma: 6.6.4 (Wayland session)
• Guest additions: 7.2.9 (revision 173918)

How can we reproduce this?

Try copying text in Firefox on Windows host and check clipboard on Linux guest

Workaround is to copy text in Firefox first, paste it for example in something else like Notepad on the host itself and copy from there, then sync will work.

If inside the guest you kill both /usr/bin/VBoxClient --wayland processes and run it manually as /usr/bin/VBoxClient --wayland -f -vvvvvvvvv -- what is the output when pasting from FF?
