[Bug]: OS/2 no longer completes booting up on build 7.2.8, must revert down to 7.2.6

What happened?

I need to post feedback that the latest update to 7.2.8 has broken ability to boot OS/2 properly. It boots to the point MPTS is loading, the NIC driver loads, it should be next reaching out to the DHCP server for an IP address, and WHAM! VirtualBox freaks out and halts.

I have reverted back to version 7.2.6 and success resumes.

How can we reproduce this?

Try booting OS/2 eComStation 1.2r on 7.2.8 version, have MPTS configured with an Ethernet adapter, TCP/IP, and set to DHCP mode.

Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?

Reverted back to v7.2.6 the boot process should be asking for a DHCP address, as noted by "DHCP : 40" in this screen shot.

By the way, my VirtualBox Forum account appears to be locked out. The Forum software no longer accepts my last known password. I have tired three web browsers... 1) Normal Firefox profile 2) Normal Brave profile 3) Firefox with absolutely no extensions profile.

Oracle login UI states that the userid/password is wrong.

I have tried resetting the password, that Oracle UI just loops back to the question asking my account name.

I have tried building a new account, that Oracle UI path loads a combo box control for the state, which is completely empty. Form not accepted due to the blank field.

Most aggravating. Someone kindly spotted that I could provided at least the bug feedback via GitHub. Assistance also requested being able to log in to my VirtualBox forum account once again.
