Tags on Optional Parameters

According to the documentation, one can add several tags by passing tags as an array of strings. Unfortunately, no tags are shown in the administrative area.

Thank you for this issue report.
Where, exactly, are you not seeing the tags? Are you referring to the demo environment?

Please note that the tags are displayed on the Account Statement, both on search criteria and results.
On the Account Statement screen >Advanced Search>Tags, you need to type a couple of characters so that you can get tag suggestions based on past orders.
On the results area, each transaction will display its order's tags on the info ballon.

I am referring to the production environment (Administration) - the demo i think does not exist :-(

And no, tags are not shown at all - neither in the Advanced Search or in the Info Balloon or in the CSV/Excel export.

I'm suspecting something wrong the way i put them in the order, but the documentation is not helping at all. More specifically I'm passing a tag list as a (json) string array: {"tag 1", "tag 2", "tag 3"}. Should I have to add keys in it?

Any advice?

PS: Because of the lack of a demo administration environment, i am not willing to do any tests on my production code.

There is a demo environment you can use to test the full API and Web Self Care environment functionality.
You can start by registering on http://demo.vivapayments.com

The json string you posted seems correct, as long as you use the property 'Tags' to pass it through. Please check https://github.com/VivaPayments/API/wiki/CreateOrder

As it turned out, i was using old information provided in documentation :-/
API Key: 0B586B1C-84AE-4259-8C93-DCDCB0266B86

for the demo endpoint http://demo.vivapayments.com.

My advice is to keep a changelog entry somewhere to inform the developers about possible changes.

As for the tags issue, i will do some tests at the demo environment and post any findings here.

As it turned out, the Tags parameter must be in the form of a json array like "Tags":["shop with id 2309"] instead of a json object like "Tags":{"0": "shop with id 2309"}.

The former can be achieved in PHP with something like:

// Remove indices and empty values from tags array
$tags = array_values(array_filter($tags));
// Construct the array to send
$parameters = [
    'Amount' => $amount,
    'Tags' => $tags,
    // more parameters...
];
// Send request as a json object via the HTTP Client (eg Guzzle/Aura.Http)
$request->send(json_encode($parameters));
