Hey contributors,
I wanted to share a quick, transparent update about a temporary GitHub account issue that affected my repositories (including this one) over the past few days.
Quick Timeline
All projects, including this one, are now back online and fully functional at https://github.com/jatinkrmalik.
What GitHub Support Found
The restriction was triggered because some repositories were created using a compromised GitHub CLI OAuth access token.
I’ve already taken these steps:
Moving Forward
This has confirmed my plan to self-host live Git mirrors for all key projects so we’re never dependent on a single platform again. I’ll set these up this weekend and share a detailed, step-by-step guide (here and on X) so anyone can do the same.
