The v1.24.7 update is a HourGlass runtime-alignment and crawler-surface stabilization patch focused on built-in extension parity, SEO/runtime consistency, crawler discovery correctness, public permalink recovery, and developer workflow cleanup.

Highlights

Built-In Extension Runtime Alignment

v1.24.7 introduces a shared runtime gate for built-in system extensions so public rendering, article hooks, analytics injection, and theme integrations consistently respect the saved plugin state across the CMS.

VonSEO rendering across Default, Prism, TechPress, Portfolio, Corporate Pro, and Digest now fully obeys the live runtime status, ensuring title/meta/schema injection stops immediately when the extension is disabled or uninstalled. VonAnalytics runtime behavior has also been aligned so analytics injection, native tracking, and cookie-banner surfaces no longer run independently from the plugin state.

SEO metadata behavior has been cleaned further with improved social image fallback ordering, removal of duplicate og:image generation paths, and unified site-level description ownership through General Settings.

Crawler & Discovery Stability

Crawler-facing discovery surfaces now share the same scheduled-publish cutoff logic across sitemap.xml, llms.txt, and RSS feeds, preventing future scheduled posts from appearing before their publish window.

llms.txt now joins the same ultra-early public crawler routing path used by robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and RSS aliases for better deployment consistency across hosting environments.

Older search and category results outside the preload window now recover directly into the saved permalink path using the server-backed discovery layer, reducing fallback route dependency and improving public navigation smoothness.

Product & UX Polish

Promo Bar and Gift Widget now support campaign-grade controls including start/end scheduling, dismiss duration, target behavior, saved URLs, labels, positioning, and button customization.

Authentication flows now surface backend validation messages directly through the UI so duplicate registration, invalid reset tokens, weak passwords, and unverified login states display proper guidance instead of generic request failures.

General Settings uploads for logo, favicon, and social assets now skip WebP derivative generation to prevent invalid thumbnail preference edge cases in the Media Library.

Developer Workflow & Runtime Cleanup

v1.24.7 adds dedicated Theme Development and Plugin Development guides for the modern HourGlass architecture while retiring older root-level legacy guides ahead of the v1.25 transition.

The updater runtime now validates all GitHub redirect hops before package verification, while release quality gates, smoke coverage, dependency locks, and changelog packaging behavior have been tightened for safer patch releases.

What's Not Changed

No database schema migration, editor HTML save contract, frontend storage format, theme API contract, or core authentication/session architecture changed in this patch.
