I am not a fan of Mac or iOS but I am currently investigating a new Java version that will work on Windows / Linux / ARM / Mac OS X (x86 only) . |

I am a developer that uses MacOS primarily and I spent some time last year getting this app to mostly work on Mac. I'm in the process of moving everything over to a new laptop, but I can commit this to a branch and do a pull request. Give me a few days to sort things out. |

I know that this is a controversial subject for many HAMs out there but, There are a handful of us using Mac to operate on digital modes for reasons that seem to elude die hard Windows & other OS users. I get it, more difficult to support the closed infrastructure of Mac operating systems. I know, I've heard it before. However,I came across a discussion on the old groups.IO thread where a user by the name Thomas, seemed to have come up with a working CommStat instance on Mac. Shortly after the group was "sundowned" & further reading led me here. The conversation seemed to have died out & I could not find the published result of the installation process to get CommStat on my Mac. Does anyone know of any way I can get CommStat on my Mac? My only other option is to run Windows bootcamp on my Mac which I guess could do. But it would be nice to have a Mac native ability to run CommStat seeings how there is JS8Call support for Mac. This would prevent me from having to switch from my Mac OS (Big Sur) to Windows just so I can run this one application. Thanks for any help.
