Software as Electricity — the closed-loop architecture for autonomous software production.
Website: https://wanabai.com
Wanabai is an autonomous production system specification. It accepts software requests, produces deterministic artifacts verified against a formal specification corpus, deploys them into contained runtimes, observes their outcomes against declared intent, and meters the process as a utility. Human operators do not work inside the main production loop; human judgment enters at four defined oversight roles outside the loop.
- wanabai/wanabai — the white paper specifying the closed-loop steady-state architecture. Start here for the vision and the governance model.
The architecture that operators can build today, before the human chokepoint at specification review dissolves, is specified in the companion yellow paper:
- lrsaturnino/attestation-layer — the transitional Attestation Layer specification, implementable over 2026–2030.
Wanabai is what that architecture converges toward as the chokepoints dissolve (approximately 2028–2032) and the loop closes.
- Out of the Loop — the macro thesis for CTOs, investors, and strategists.
- The Attestation Layer — the applied architecture article for senior engineers.
- Software as Electricity — the forward-looking steady-state thesis.
This organization is the namespace home of the Wanabai project. The white paper is published under wanabai/wanabai. A v0 prototype of the closed-loop architecture is not yet available; the transitional architecture that supersedes it has a reference implementation in development at lrsaturnino/attestation-layer.
Foundation stewardship of the Wanabai project is anticipated but not yet established. Until it is, the project marks are held in trust by the maintainer — see the TRADEMARK.md files in each repository for current usage rules. The target governance structure is specified in the License and Governance section of the white paper.
