NEW FEATURE (RP2350/2040): I2S output with optional master clock

  • User assignable BCK, LRCK and MCK pins
  • Master clock multiplier switchable between 128x (jitter-free) and 256x (slight fractional jitter)

NEW FEATURE (RP2350/2040): Assignable output slot types

  • The four SPDIF outputs have become runtime assignable slots
  • Each slot can be configured as a SPDIF or I2S data output without interrupting playback

NEW FEATURE (RP2350/2040): Reboot into bootloader mode

A new vendor command enables the user to reboot DSPi into bootloader mode for firmware updates, eliminating the inconvenient disconnect-BOOTSEL-reconnect pattern.

OVERHAUL (RP2350/2040): All DSP operations moved out of the USB IRQ
