New filter types
A family of first-order filters has been added:
- All-pass for phase correction
- Low and high shelf for gentle, broad tonal adjustments
- Low-pass and high-pass slopes for crossover bands
On the RP2350, the first-order filters now share the same hybrid SVF/biquad design as the higher-order filters, giving them greater numerical precision at low frequencies.
Testing
A new hardware audio-loopback test suite validates the full signal chain end to end, including dynamics, crossover frequency response, output-stage controls, and channel alignment and latency stability.
