Looking for a way to map buttons to a POV Hat.

I can see a way to map a hat to buttons, but how can I map buttons to a hat. I'm looking to move the POV hat on my VKB NXT Gladiator for one game. I'm not going to flash the POV hat to another stick just for one game. I was hoping Joystick Gremlin would work, but I can't find any way to do it. The POV hat is set to A1 on the stick, and I want to move it to A3. A1 is set to the POV hat and Analog stick, but A3 is buttons 6-10.

You can use the macro action but that will be a pain to work "properly". So that's where you have to use a script to implement the actual logic. This one https://github.com/WhiteMagic/JoystickGremlin-Plugins/tree/r14/buttons_to_hat should do that already, so you can give that a shot.
