Asset Vault is a custom asset management system for Roblox Studio, designed to replicate the efficiency of Unity's built-in asset browser. It allows developers to catalog, organize, and deploy instances without cluttering the standard Explorer.
- Visual Grid Interface: Browse your Models with 3D viewport thumbnails.
- Rapid Deployment: Insert assets into the workspace via drag-and-drop or system.
- Smart Placement: Automatically align placed assets to surface normals (optional), snap to grid and rotate them using default Roblox Studio Settings
- Advanced Filtering: Locate assets from Vaults using text search and category filters.
- Quick Access Tabs: Quickly retrieve recently used items or pin frequently used assets to your Favorites.
- Right-Click Context Menu: Batch Favorite, Rename (with sequential numbering), Move To, Copy AssetID, and Delete instances directly from the interface.
- Script Support: Manage Script, LocalScript, and ModuleScript instances. Double-click to open in the Script Editor or inject code at your active cursor position.
- Keybinds Integration: Multiselect using Ctrl and ability to drag across the UI to select multiple elements simultaneously. (yes you can drag and drop multiple assets at once). Use Delete and / for faster production.
- FAQ Page: If you donβt know something, there might be an answer in the FAQ widget inside the plugin.
- Parent Override - Select a folder/model from the explorer, from now on any dragged asset from the AV will land into that parent!
- Both Themes Compatibility: You change the Studio to dark/light mode, it changes to dark/light mode.
Asset Vault is available in two versions. The Lite / Demo version is free and covers basic asset management, while the Pro version removes limitations for power users.
