🚀 MCP Debugger Updates
Available since March 21, 2026 (Commit
dd074dcd)Delphi Exception Handling & Filtering
The debugger engine has been enhanced to intercept Delphi language exceptions (
$0EEDFADE) and resolve their specific class names directly from the debugged process memory. This allows the debugger to silently step over expected or noisy exceptions without pausing the debug session. By default,EAbortis now automatically ignored.New MCP Tools
To give you full control over this new behavior, the following tools have been added to the MCP server:
ignore_exceptionInstructs the debugger to silently ignore a specific Delphi exception class (e.g.,
"EZeroDivide","EAccessViolation"). This tool can be called during an active session or beforehand (as a pending configuration applied at startup).unignore_exceptionReverts a previously ignored Delphi exception class. The debugger will once again pause execution when an exception of this class is raised.
list_ignored_exceptionsReturns a list of all Delphi exception classes currently configured to be ignored by the debugger.
