Managing allowed blocks without impacting Site Editor

I had to recently setup a list of allowed blocks for the editor and had to add some code to prevent the function from modifying the avaialble blocks in the site editor.

I could either put this together as a real quick snippet style article, which I forgot I did already, or I can expand upon this and cover the allowed_block_types_all filter, how to use it to "allow" blocks, how to use it to "remove" blocks and how to prevent it all from having an impact on the site editor.

I’d expand it into the fuller article. I check your sheet Covering allowed_block_types_all, the allow/remove approaches, and the site-editor exception would make it more useful as a reference than a quick snippet.
