To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'spotify and create playlists where the total songs added equal to almost 30k (3 in total) (keep in mind in each playlist there is 80% of songs duplicated when combining others playlists to one larger playlist. after that go to intellimerge create a new playist.'
2. Click on 'edit links in intellimerge and link the playlists you created on spotify. once the songs start adding the playlist will show a max of 10,999 songs when you find any songs that are grayed out meaning it is no longer playable on spotify and delete them from the playlist a few times the playlist log in intellimerge would stop working properly to update even when you remove the grayed out songs from the merged playlists you've created.'

the playlist i create to genuinely update automatically instead of glitching stating in logs that updates were done when clearly it is stuck in a loop.

if you delete the grayed out songs enough times the playlist will also not use the max limit of 10k songs

are you removing the grey songs from the slave lists? or from the master? i'm just trying to recreate with a smaller list now to try to replicate. i'm interested if it happens only on a large playlist. Is the problem the grey songs, or the size of it, or a combination of both?

hmm. looks like a product of max playlist size. i can replicate on a list without grey songs. if the target list is longer than max, it adds to the logs that it's going to add or remove tracks according to intension, but it doesn't do it successfully because the size of the list is limiting it and it errors out.

action: make sure that the log is accurate and calculated before adding the log.
bonus: make the log record that max size was reached and x songs were not added due to size constraints.

i at first removed from the intellimerge playlist created on spotify itself to help kickstart the software to automate and maybe pick out other songs besides the grayed out songs with me having a file of over 300 playlists with hundreds of grayed out songs. when that didnt show improvements i created a new intellimerge playlist and combined all those 300+ playlists into 3 new ones on my account/profile on spotify. i tried to find and remove all the grayed out songs there are probably still a handful left. i created a dummy playlist with only grayed out songs for you. when the grayed out songs are in the playlist and you repeatedly remove them on spotify or really it works with any song you manually remove on spotify itself it will kickstart the software to to do an update and re-add the songs in/remove more songs already existing there. eventually repeating the same thing enough times causes the software to glitch out. i did this with 3 playlists i created with the software.

alright. looks like two different issues here then. max size OR grey songs. i'll try to replicate the grey songs issue now then to determine how to move forward. Thanks for your feedback this morning :)

also i dont mind having 11k songs in my playlist since it's past the spotify max playlist # limit. i just wish all the songs that are added are playable and not the grayed out songs. along with the log in intellimerge to not glitch out and actually filter out the grayed songs on it's own.

I get that... would suck if half of an over-the-limit-playlist was unplayable. The grey'd out songs are songs that used to be on Spotify but are no longer in your jurisdiction or licensing has fallen through. I've debated removing them from playlists in the past but sometimes they make a song unavailable temporarily. A few years ago they removed hundreds of kpop songs because Spotify was renegotiating contracts with the Korean distributor. After about a week, they re-added the songs and they were available again. If we remove all grey songs from a playlist, it means people would have to re-add those songs once they came back. I made a decision at that time, that I'd stand by, that I wont remove grey songs.

I could make an enhancement in the future maybe that removes grey songs by choice. It wont be an immediate implemented feature though. I'll make a feature request to keep track of it though.
