Compiling e.g. the attached project, I get the following error.

Your project file doesn't list 'win-x86' as a "RuntimeIdentifier". You should add 'win-x86' to the "RuntimeIdentifiers" property in your project file and then re-run NuGet restore.

The XSharp.props file seems to be unchanged after installation of XSharp 3.0.0.1.

The XSharp.props file seems to be unchanged after installation of XSharp 3.0.0.1.
Apparently there was an error in the installer because of which the change was not included.
The new XSharp.Props file should have the line
<_EnableDefaultWindowsPlatform Condition="'$(_EnableDefaultWindowsPlatform)' == '' And '$(UsingMicrosoftNETSdk)' != 'true'">true</_EnableDefaultWindowsPlatform>
instead of the line
<RuntimeIdentifier Condition="'$(UsingMicrosoftNETSdk)' != 'true'">win</RuntimeIdentifier>

The problem seems to have been resolved in the new version
