Local TernFS instance start fails with "panic: giving up waiting for client, last error: shard 0 not present in registry"

I am a new user of TernFS. While following the instructions in the README, I encountered the error below.

How can I fix this, or at least how can I debug the issue?
I would appreciate any help.

OK, my storage was too slow (frash drive). I moved ternfs code to RAM disk and started the local instance with -leaders-only option. Solved.
