Aetherphone is a free, open-source Dalamud plugin that puts a real smartphone on screen in FINAL FANTASY XIV: a docked, always-on device with a home screen, notifications, ringtones, and themeable wallpapers. Behind the apps runs its own social network for Aetherphone users, so they work across characters and sessions, not just locally.
Privacy and safety come first: text messages, attachments, and voice notes are end-to-end encrypted, calls are encrypted in transit, and posts and images pass AI moderation with clear content rules.
- Social: Chirper microblog, Aethergram photo feed, ChocoChat private messaging with voice notes and group calls, and Velvet, an optional 18+ companion app.
- Utilities: a market board tracker, a housing browser that maps open plots and tracks lottery phases, venue and event directory, in-game music, weather, a wallet, timers and resets, a photo library and camera, Shortcuts that run command macros and open your other plugins in one tap, a pocket arcade of mini-games, and Aether Coin, a cosmetic currency you earn just by using the phone, among 30+ apps.
- Gamba: a play-money casino with blackjack tables, slots, scratch cards, a communal wheel, a bingo hall, a bar game, and a free daily spin. Change Aether Coin for chips once at the cashier and play them at anything on the floor: switching games never costs you a cash-out, and sitting down at a table just carries part of your chips to the felt and brings back whatever survives. Every shuffle and spin is decided by the server and published as a fingerprint before you stake, so you can check any round afterwards. No real money is involved and nothing here has cash value.
- Make it yours: any accent color you like from a full picker, wallpapers, Lodestone character portraits, custom ringtones, an accessibility text-size zoom, and a phone you can drag to any size you like.

Tick Enabled, click +, then Save and Close. Open /xlplugins → All Plugins, search for Aetherphone, and install.
