Welcome to v1.4! This release introduces professional VS Code-level syntax highlighting, complete theme engine overhauls, universal file and image attachments, and dynamic streaming chat UI improvements.

  • 🎨 VS Code-Style Syntax Highlighting (Pygments Engine):

    • Powered by Python's pygments engine for code rendering across Python, JavaScript, HTML, C++, Batch, JSON, and CSS.
    • Code blocks now render in Monokai for dark themes and GitHub Light for light themes.
    • Cleaned up all legacy HTML parsing string artifacts.

  • 📎 Universal Attachments & Drag-and-Drop:

    • Drag & drop or hit the + button to attach code files (.py, .txt, .json, .js, .bat, .html).
    • Full image upload support (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, .webp, .gif) with automatic Base64 encoding.

  • 💻 Clean Chat Cards & Typography Stack:

    • Modernized message bubbles with unified fonts (Segoe UI).
    • Auto-resizing message containers with custom scrollbars to prevent internal scrollbar clutter.
    • Corrected dark/light contrast rules across all theme palettes.

  • ℹ️ Built-in Credits / About Dialog:

    • Added an About modal displaying live versioning (v1.4 · Build 2026) and project links with theme-aware styling.

  • ⚡ Streaming Control & Session Stability:

    • Swap Send to Stop mid-stream to cancel long responses.
    • Multi-turn chat memory retains conversation context naturally.
