Didn't feel like making an issue for this, since I guess it counts as expected behaviour, but is still very frustrating.
I deployed your_spotify about a week ago, with me and another person as users. It's using a fresh app in the spotify developer portal, created 05/07/26.
I seemingly have not been able to do pretty much anything without hitting rate limits. The first day or so we both hit rate limits preventing login to the app seemingly just from the background polling requests. We both attempted to import our extended streaming history, unsurprisingly to absolutely no avail, and about once a day we get locked out of logging in by the background polling again.
According to the metrics in the API portal, we used about 1400 on our first day, and 800 on subsequent days. Given that that's only really once every 60-100 seconds, that should be well within reasonable limits right?
Has anybody else experienced such extreme rate limiting from the spotify API? It's making it effectively impossible to use the app, and is making extremely likely we're going to start getting gaps in our tracked streaming history.
