Both fixed, landing in 2.30.0. Focus. You were right, and it was only the mouse: every keyboard way of opening a note (quick open, Enter on a sidebar row, The On cycling through every state by click: I went the other way deliberately. A checkbox shape promises "click to complete", and a full cycle would make the most common action take several clicks, with misclicks landing you in states you did not want. The state setters stay explicit: Thanks for the report, the focus one especially had been quietly wrong for a long time. |

When switching between notes, the cursor focus moves to the sidebar instead of returning automatically to the editor. It would be preferable if the editor regained focus and the cursor was placed in the note in the position where it was left.
[/]After marking a task as "in progress" using the
[/]syntax, clicking on the task does not change its state. It would be useful if tasks with all supported states ([ ],[x],[/], etc.) could be cycled through consistently by clicking. All reactions
