- docs/PERFORMANCE.md: visual health-check table, headline numbers, three-layer accessor breakdown, cache-window finding, honest caveats
- README.md: "Performance at a glance" section with headline table and traffic-light summary up top; links to docs/PERFORMANCE.md
- docs/BUILD.md: "Running benchmarks locally" section
- benchmarks/bench_accessor.cpp: BM_FrameAccessor_Creation and BM_EntityView_SingleGet (isolated per-layer measurements of the accessor API, 6.77 us / 1.70 ns respectively)
- reports/benchmarks/: raw data of the 2026-04-23 16:20 canonical run (JSON + console). Per-run narrative markdown stays out of the repo; docs/PERFORMANCE.md is the evergreen landing page
