Initial Public Release!

WindAPI is a modding utility for Kerbal Space Program and Ferram Aerospace Research. It enables multiple wind mods (providers) to simultaneously apply effects via FAR's existing Wind functionality. It also facilitates intercommunication between these wind providers for functions which interact, such as for calculating ridge lift or sound effects based on wind speed and direction. This mod includes features to wrap other mods like Kerbal Wind Continued and automatically includes their calculations in the total.

Installation: Fully remove any prior versions of WindAPI prior to updating. Extract and copy 000_WindAPI to your GameData folder.

  • Wraps legacy wind providers not built for WindAPI
