Start FSTools before STKP/PFLY.

My flight plan from VATSIM isn't loading!

Wait 10 to 20 seconds for VATSIM to update their data. Make sure you actually filed your flight plan.

You must have a departure, arrival, and cruise altitude in your flight plan.

An error shows when installing FSTools.

Uninstall FSTools (if you already have it installed) before running the installer. Restart your computer if it persists.

FSTools keeps crashing.

Grab the logs and report the issue. An invisible FSTools process may be running in the background when it gets stuck.

I added something by hand, not using the app, but there are bugs for some reason.

Adding entries not using the app will void error prevention. We do not endorse file editing unless stated otherwise within the NOTAM section.

My flight stages are changing at incorrect times.

Make sure your altimeter is set correctly when nearing fields. Stages update through your altitude, speed, and distance from your destination.

Clicking the red X in the Fleet or Aircraft pages do not work

Double click the button. It is there to prevent you from accidentally deleting your entries.

Internal Script Logs

The log file can be found within Documents/FSTools/log.txt. More information on its workings can be found within that text file.

About FSTools

FSTools is a closed-source program designed by ZotacAviation#9949 to compete with other programs like SimToolKitPro and projectFLY. Our first full release of the program was v1.0.0r9 on 25 May 2020. It was a shaky start, but eventually we created a working program by v1.3.0. The only person working on this project is ZotacAviation#9949. If you are interested in developing for FSTools, you're out of luck!
